Fixed Tooth-Coloured Braces Chester
What are fixed tooth-coloured braces?
Fixed tooth-coloured braces work in the same way as traditional fixed braces. Brackets are bonded to the front of each tooth, connected by a wire, and gradually adjusted over time to guide teeth into their correct positions.
The difference is purely aesthetic: the brackets are made from ceramic or composite materials designed to blend with the colour of your natural teeth, and the wiring is typically translucent, creating a system that’s much less noticeable day-to-day.
Because they’re fixed to your teeth, they work continuously; there’s no taking them out and forgetting to put them back in, and treatment stays on track throughout.
